17 weeks

This week has been quite busy.  I've been doing very well.  I'm tired, but I don't know any teacher who isn't tired right now.  I got quite a few nods this week, as in my tummy is noticable to the outside world now and not just to myself.  I'm still waiting to feel the baby moving around in there, no such luck yet.

Dallas had a great week this week as well.  He had his first soccer practice of the fall season.  He has his same coach he had last spring; he's fantastic!  That's why we drive all the way to Bentwater across the lake to go to practice.  David says it would be shorter to just take the boat.

Dallas begins soccer practice with a few drills.

Coach Tom teaches the kids to kick like penguins.

Wow, it's hot.

Monster kick made with utter concentration.

Dallas also had his first game this Saturday as well.  He played a great game.

Dallas is running to follow his kick on the field.

"Which one is your goal kids?" And it looks like they all know!

Game over, time for snack.

week 16

I went to Dr. Everson yesterday and heard the baby's heartbeat again.  We're both doing well.  She said baby is right where he/she should be and we'll find out in our ultrasound on Oct. 7 who baby is!  I'm doing well too which is such a relief.  Blood pressure is still awesome at 110/60...I don't ever want to see 170/110 like I did at the end with Dallas.  No signs of toxemia/pre-eclampsia/HEELP as I had with Dallas.  (signs began at about 6 months so I'm hoping for the best.)

Today was Grandparent's Breakfast at Dallas' school and he had a blast to say the least with Goo-Gee & Baw-Baw.

15 weeks

Surviving the second week of kindergarten and seventh grade must mean one thing, and one thing only, it's time to go to Granny's and swim for Labor Day.  Considering Dallas hasn't seen the pool since the end of July when I started working again, he went nuts.  Don't let that handsome face fool you, he was a mess.
He splashed everyone in and out of the pool excluding his relaxing Mom, who threatened no Scooby-Doo on Scooby-Doo weekend on Boomerang.  Thankfully, this worked and I was left alone to relax in

peace.  (Notice the extremely wrinkled, yet supercool, "Future Aggie" shirt with the arrow pointing to the tummy.  I'm still hoping for pink in there, 4 more weeks, come on!

As my little fish continued swimming, I realized how exhausted two weeks of 113 seventh graders had made me.  They are good kids, there are just 113 of them.  Why am I complaining?  I had 128 last year.  So we came home, I crashed on the couch, where I remained for quite some time.  I'm hoping that exhaustion/nausea at night goes away soon.  I'm waiting for that miracle day all these moms are telling me about when you wake and "POOF" you're a new woman.  Until then, enjoy more pictures of fish Dallas.
